Al-Najm 3 of 3
(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
