Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 Thamud, 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
