(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 while you make merry? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
