Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
