And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Anon will their multitude be vanquished, and they will turn the back. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
