▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
