The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
