▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
