Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

We revealed the Quran on the Night of Destiny. 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is, that Night of Destiny? 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees. 4 It is peace until the rising of dawn. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: Destiny (Al-Qadr). Sent down in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
