And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
