The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"? 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
