O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. 51 And verily this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 Yet they have split their affairs between themselves into sects, each rejoicing in what it has. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time. 54 Do they think that We enlarge them in wealth and children, 55 We vie in good works for them? Nay, but they are not aware. 56 Lo! those who go in awe for fear of their Lord. 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And those who ascribe not partners unto their Lord, 59 And those who give what they give and their hearts fear for they have to return to their Lord. 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book* that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.) 62 But their hearts are heedless of this. Moreover, there are other deeds besides this which they do. 63 Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, at once they are crying [to Allah] for help. 64 Do not cry out for help this day, for surely you shall not be helped by Us. 65 “My verses were recited to you, so you used to turn back on your heels.” 66 [and,] impelled by your arrogance, you would talk senselessly far into the night." 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or, is it that they recognised not their apostle, and so of him they become deniers? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And verily, thou callest them onto a straight way 73 And verily those who believe not in the Hereafter are deviating from that Way. 74 ۞ Were We to be merciful to them and remove from them their present afflictions, they would persist in their transgression, blindly wandering on. 75 We already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their Lord nor were they humble; 76 So that when at last We open up the gate of severe punishment on them they will be overwhelmed with despair. 77

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
