The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The Most Beneficent (Allah)! 1 Hath taught the Qur'an. 2 He created man 3 [And] taught him eloquence. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration. 6 And Allah has raised the sky; and He has set the balance. 7 That you not transgress within the balance. 8 And observe the weight with equity, and make not deficient the balance. 9 And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures, 10 Therein are fruits and palm trees with sheaths, 11 and grain in the blade, and fragrant herbs. 12 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 13 He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery, 14 and He created the jinns from a flame of fire. 15 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 16 [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He has set the two oceans in motion, converging together. 19 but has created a barrier between them so that they will not merge totally. 20 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 21 Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 22 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 23 His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains. 24 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
