The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Beneficent (God) 1 has imparted this Qur'an [unto man]. 2 He created man 3 He has taught him speech (and intelligence). 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 And the plants and the trees prostrate (for Him). 6 He raised the sky and set the Balance 7 So that none may err against the scales, 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth He has put for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 And grain covered with husk, and fragrant flowers. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery. 14 and has created the jinn from the flame of fire. 15 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 16 [He is] the Sustainer of the two farthest points of sunrise, and the Sustainer of the two farthest points of sunset. 17 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 18 He has let forth the two seas, they meet together, 19 Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 22 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 23 His are the lofty ships, that rear aloft on the sea like mountains. 24 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 25
