The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Beneficent 1 Hath taught the Qur'an. 2 He created the human being 3 [And] taught him eloquence. 4 The sun and the moon are made punctual. 5 And the stars and trees prostrate. 6 and heaven -- He raised it up, and set the Balance. 7 Do not transgress the scales. 8 And keep up the balance with equity and do not make the measure deficient. 9 And the earth! He hath lain it out for the creatures. 10 therein fruits, and palm-trees with sheaths, 11 Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants. 12 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 13 He created the human from clay, like earthenware 14 And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire. 15 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 16 He is the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests. 17 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 18 He has made the two oceans meet each other, 19 In-between the twain is a barrier which they pass not. 20 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 21 Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 22 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 23 His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains. 24 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
