▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever. 27 So which of the wonders of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). 29 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 30 Soon will We apply Ourselves to you, O you two armies. 31 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 32 O the groups of jinns and men, if you can cross the boundaries of the heavens and the earth, then cross them; wherever you may go, His is the kingdom! 33 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 34 Against you shall be loosed a flame of fire, and molten brass; and you shall not be helped. 35 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 36 And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil - 37 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 38 So on that Day no question will be asked of man or jinn as to his sin, (because they have already been known from their faces either white or black). 39 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 40 The guilty shall be recognized by their marks, so they shall be seized by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 42 Yonder is the Hell which the culprits belied. 43 They will go between it (Hell) and the boiling hot water! 44 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 45
