We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
