▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. 26 And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth implore Him; every day He is upon some labour. 29 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 30 Soon will We apply Ourselves to you, O you two armies. 31 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 34 There shall be sent against you both flame of fire and smoke, and ye shall not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 36 When the sky is rent asunder, and becomes red like red leather, 37 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 38 On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin. 39 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 40 The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 42 This is Hell which the Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, sinners, etc.) denied. 43 They will go between it (Hell) and the boiling hot water! 44 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 45
