▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 [There will be two gardens with] spreading branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 dark green in color. 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
