۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
