▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
