۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
