Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
