Will you not understand? What, is he to whom We have promised a fair promise, and he receives it, like him to whom We have given the enjoyment of the present life, then he on the Resurrection Day shall be of those that are arraigned? 61 On the day when He will call to them – He will therefore proclaim, “Where are those partners of Mine, whom you had assumed?” 62 Those upon whom the word will have come into effect will say, "Our Lord, these are the ones we led to error. We led them to error just as we were in error. We declare our disassociation [from them] to You. They did not used to worship us." 63 It will be said (to them): "Call upon your 'partners' (for help)": they will call upon them, but they will not listen to them; and they will see the Penalty (before them); (how they will wish) 'if only they had been open to guidance!' 64 And on that Day He will call unto them, and will ask: "How did you respond to My message bearers?" 65 On that day (all) tidings will be dimmed for them, nor will they ask one of another, 66 But as to him who repents and believes and does good, maybe he will be among the successful: 67 And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses; not for them was the choice. Exalted is Allah and high above what they associate with Him. 68 And your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 69 He is Allah; there is no god but He. His is the praise in this world and in the Hereafter. His is the command and to Him will all of you be returned. 70 Say: 'Think! What if Allah should enshroud you in unceasing night till the Day of Resurrection, what god, other than Allah, shall bring you light! Will you not hear?' 71 Say thou: bethink ye, if Allah made day continuous for you till the Day of Resurrection, what god is there beside Allah, who would bring you night wherein ye have repose? Behold ye not? 72 For it is out of His grace that He has made for you the night and the day, so that you might rest therein as well as seek to obtain [what you need] of His bounty: and [He gave you all this] so that you might have cause to be grateful. 73 And on the Day He shall call out to them and say, "Where are those whom you alleged were My partners." 74 And We shall bring forth from every people a witness and We shall say to them: "Bring your proof." Then they will know that truth belongs to God alone, and that which they used to invent will fall away from them. 75
