1/2 Hizb 54
< random >
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
