۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
