▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a book that is protected 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
