No misfortune befalls except by Allah’s command; and Allah will guide the heart of whoever accepts faith in Him; and Allah knows all things. 11 Obey God and the Messenger, but if you turn away, know that the only duty of Our Messenger is to clearly preach. 12 Allah, there is no god but He; and upon Allah, then, let the believers rely. 13 O you who believe! surely from among your wives and your children there is an enemy to you; therefore beware of them; and if you pardon and forbear and forgive, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 14 Your wealth and children are surely meant as trial for you: But with God is the great reward. 15 So fear Allah as much as ye can; listen and obey and spend in charity for the benefit of your own soul and those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity. 16 If you set apart for Allah a goodly portion, He will double it for you and forgive you; and Allah is the Multiplier (of rewards), Forbearing, 17 Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Wise. 18
