Indeed, for the righteous with their Lord are the Gardens of Pleasure. 34 Shall We treat the Muslims like criminals? 35 What ails you? How ill you judge! 36 Have you a Scripture that tells you 37 that you will be granted whatever you choose? 38 Or is it that you have a covenant from Us, right up to the Day of Judgement, that you will get all what you claim? 39 Ask them which of them, for that [claim], is responsible. 40 Or have they some "Partners" (in Allahhead)? Then let them produce their "partners", if they are truthful! 41 On the Day when the dreadful calamity will unfold, when people will be summoned to prostrate themselves, and yet they will not be able to prostrate. 42 Their eyes shall be downcast and ignominy shall overwhelm them. For when they were safe and sound, they were summoned to prostrate themselves, (and they refused). 43 Then leave Me alone with such as reject this Message: by degrees shall We punish them from directions they perceive not. 44 A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan. 45 Do you ask for any compensation from them that they are burdened with want? 46 Is with them the unseen, so that they write down? 47 But wait thou for thy Lord's decree, and be not like him of the fish, who cried out in despair. 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 Thus did his Lord choose him and make him of the Company of the Righteous. 50 And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. 51 And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
