Have you not seen how those who dispute the revelations of God, turn away from Truth to falsehood? 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 when fetters will be placed around their necks and chains will drag them 71 In the boiling water, then they will be burned in the Fire. 72 It will then be said to them: “Where are those whom you 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 this is an outcome of your having arrogantly exulted on earth without any [concern for what is] right, and of your having been so full of self-conceit! 75 So enter the gates of Hell to abide in it for ever." How evil the abode of the arrogant! 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 We have told you the stories of some of Our Messengers whom We had sent before you and We have not told you the stories of some others. A Messenger is not supposed to show a miracle without the permission of God. When God's decree of punishment comes to pass, He will judge truthfully and the supporters of the falsehood will perish when God's decree of punishemnt comes to pass. 78
