The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Allah's judgement has (all but) come; do not, then, call for its speedy advent. Holy is He, and far above their associating others with Him in His Divinity. 1 He sends down this spirit (of prophecy) by His command through His angels on any of His servants whom He wills, (directing them): "Warn people that there is no deity but Me; so hold Me alone in fear." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with reason. Too glorious and high is He for what they associate with Him. 3 He created the human being from a drop of fluid but the human being openly disputes His Word. 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful. 7 (He has created for you) horses, mules, and donkeys, which you ride and as an adornment; and He creates what you do not know. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
