So I swear by what you see 38 And what you do not see 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
