Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 and what you do not see 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
