(Remember) the day when We will call every people with their Imam; then whoever is given his book in his right hand, these shall read their book; and they shall not be dealt with a whit unjustly. 71 And whoever is blind in this world (i.e., does not see Allah's Signs and believes not in Him), will be blind in the Hereafter, and more astray from the Path. 72 And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend. 73 Indeed, had We not strengthened you, you might have inclined to them a little, 74 whereupon We would have made you taste double (the chastisement) in the world and double (the chastisement) after death, and then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 They try to annoy you so that they can expel you from the land. Had they been successful, no one would have been left behind except a few. 76 [That is Our] established way for those We had sent before you of Our messengers; and you will not find in Our way any alteration. 77
