What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 Never! For, behold, We have created them out of something that they know [only too well]! 39 No, I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We have the ability 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. 43 with downcast eyes and faces distorted in shame; such is the Day which they are promised. 44
