But they did not listen to me," Noah said, "and followed him whose wealth and children only added to his ruin. 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 and have said to each other, 'Do not give-up your idols. Do not renounce Wadd, Suwa`, Yaghuth, Ya`uq and Nasr (names of certain idols). 23 And they have led many astray. Increase Thou not the evildoers save in error!' 24 Because of their sins, they were drowned and made to enter hell. They could find no one to help them besides God. 25 And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land. 26 If Thou shouldst leave them, they will mislead Thy slaves and will beget none save lewd ingrates. 27 "My Lord! Forgive me, and my parents, and him who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women. And to the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, and disbelievers, etc.) grant You no increase but destruction!" 28

True are the words of God the Almighty.
