Say, "I call only upon my Lord and do not associate anyone else with Him." 20 Say: 'Indeed, I possess no power over you, either for harm or for guidance' 21 Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge: 22 Mine is but the publishing from Allah and His messages; and whosoever disobeyeth Allah and His apostle, his portion verily is the Hell-Fire as abiders therein for evermore. 23 When they see that which they were promised they shall know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 Say, "I do not know if what you are promised is near or if my Lord will grant for it a [long] period." 25 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen, and He revealeth unto none His secret, 26 Other than an apostle He has chosen, when He makes a sentinel walk in front of him and a sentinel behind, 27 That He may know that they have indeed conveyed the messages of their Lord. He surroundeth all their doings, and He keepeth count of all things. 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
