The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
