The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
O, you, wrapped in your cloak, 1 Arise and warn, 2 And proclaim the Purity of your Lord. 3 And thine raiment purify. 4 shun uncleanness; 5 And do not favour others in order to receive more. 6 And persevere in the way of your Lord. 7 When the Trumpet is sounded, 8 Truly, that Day will be a Hard Day. 9 and it will not be easy for the unbelievers. 10 Leave Me with him whom I created alone, 11 To whom I granted resources in abundance, 12 And gave him sons present before him. 13 and to whose life I gave so wide a scope: 14 then he is eager that I should do more. 15 Never will he receive more. He has been hostile to Our revelations. 16 Soon will I visit him with a mount of calamities! 17 Indeed he thought, and inwardly decided. 18 and woe to him; how he plotted! 19 Again, death seized him, how was his determining! 20 Then he looked around, 21 then he frowned and scowled, 22 Then he turned back and was arrogant 23 and said, "This is nothing but sorcery from the ancients. 24 These are only words from a mere mortal". 25 I will surely roast him in the Scorching. 26 And what knoweth thou that which the Scorching Fire? 27 It spares not, neither leaves alone 28 it scorches (even) the skin. 29 Over it are nineteen. 30 And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity. 31

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
