Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning unto humankind 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except those of the right hand 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 concerning the sinners, 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
