NAY, but consider the moon! 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 who will be in Paradise 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
