By the moon, 32 And the night when it departs, 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
