Nay, by the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 a warning to humans, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.
