In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 For the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
