Believers, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims. 102 All of you united hold fast to the rope of God (the Quran and His Messenger), and recall how He favored you when your hostility to each other had torn you apart. He united your hearts in one faith and through His Grace you became brothers. You were on the verge of falling headlong into the abyss of fire, but God saved you. This is how God explains to you His revelations so that you may have the right guidance. 103 And there may spring from you a nation who invite to goodness, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. Such are they who are successful. 104 Do not be like those who, after they had been given clear evidence, split into factions and differed among themselves: a terrible punishment awaits such people. 105 On the Day when (some) faces will be whitened and (some) faces will be blackened; and as for those whose faces have been blackened, it will be said unto them: Disbelieved ye after your (profession of) belief? Then taste the punishment for that ye disbelieved. 106 And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in Allah's mercy; in it they shall-abide. 107 These are the commandments of God We recite to you verily; God does not wish injustice to the creatures of the world. 108 And to Allah only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth; and towards Allah only is the return of all matters. 109
