O believers, fear God as He should be feared, and do not die but submitting (to Him). 102 Hold fast to the cord of God and let nothing divide you. Remember the blessings He has bestowed upon you; you were enemies and then He united your hearts and by His grace you became brothers; you were on the brink of an abyss of Fire and He rescued you from it. Thus God makes His signs clear to you, so that you may find guidance. 103 And there may spring from you a nation who invite to goodness, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. Such are they who are successful. 104 And be not like those who have drawn apart from one another and have taken to conflicting views after all evidence of the truth has come unto them: for these it is for whom tremendous suffering is in store 105 the day when some faces are blackened, and some faces whitened. As for those whose faces are blackened -- 'Did you disbelieve after you had believed? Then taste the chastisement for that you disbelieved!' 106 And as for those whose faces have been whitened, in the mercy of Allah they dwell for ever. 107 These are God's revelations; We recite them to you in all truth. God desires no injustice to mankind. 108 And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and to Allah all things return 109
