The News (Al-Naba')
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej) before The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ OF WHAT ARE they asking one another? 1 Of the mighty tiding 2 whereupon they are at variance? 3 No indeed; they shall soon know! 4 Surely, they will soon find out the truth! 5 Have We not made the earth as a cradle 6 and fixed the mountains like pegs, 7 and created you in pairs (as men and women), 8 And made sleep for you to rest, 9 and made the night [its] cloak 10 And made the day for seeking livelihood. 11 And We have built above you seven strong (heavens), 12 and placed therein a hot, shining lamp, 13 and sent down heavy rains from the clouds 14 That We may produce therewith corn and vegetations, 15 And gardens of thick foliage. 16 Surely a time is fixed for the Day of Judgement. 17 the Day that the Horn is blown, and you shall come in crowds 18 And the heaven will have been opened, and it will have become doors. 19 And the mountains shall vanish, as if they were a mirage. 20 Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait 21 A place of resort for the inordinate, 22 there, they shall live for ages, 23 tasting neither coolness nor any drink 24 Save boiling water and a paralysing cold: 25 for a suitable recompense. 26 For verily, they used not to look for a reckoning. 27 and roundly denied Our Signs as false. 28 and everything We have numbered in a Book. 29 Taste therefore. We shall not increase you in aught but torment. 30

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
