▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
