Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 But how are you to know? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
