[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 But how are you to know? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
